Information on Cannabinoids and Terpenes
CannabiJournal aims to become the world’s premiere site in information about cannabinoids. Although these cannabis plant-based chemicals have been used for thousands of years, they bolstered in popularity after the United States passed the Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018, or more commonly known as the 2018 Farm Bill. With the popularity came research which improved cannabinoid information. This bill was passed by the US Senate on December 11th, 2018 and moved on to be passed by the House on December 12th, 2018. Cannabinoids, like CBD, were essentially legalized for use (among a slew of other improvements and adjustments to Industrial Hemp). Industrial Hemp was decriminalized, and it would start a massive boom unlike anything the United States have ever seen.
There’s much more to industrial hemp besides the cannabinoid known as ‘CBD.’ In fact, there are roughly 400 different cannabinoids and/or chemical compounds identified in the cannabis genome. With every day that passes, different cannabinoids and terpenes are being discovered and researched. Here at CannabiJournal, we constantly research, discuss, and deliver top-tier educational information on cannabinoids and terpenes – all free of cost.
Use our cannabinoid info locator to find peer reviewed data on the different major and minor cannabinoids.
